Radical Hospitality
our next chapter in
After a more than a decade of hosting weekly community dinners, listening to neighbors' needs, and witnessing waves of displacement, TCC is teaming up with Nelson Community Partners, Safe Haven Family Shelter, The Nashville Food Project, and Dryden Studio to reimagine the church property to encourage the flourishing of all our neighbors.
Together we developed plans to revitalize an historic sanctuary into a vibrant community gathering space & food hub — and use the rest of the property to build affordable homes for families who need it most.
creating common ground where everyone has a place to belong:
-
Live
In partnership with Safe Haven Family Shelter - Nashville’s leading service provider to families experiencing homelessness - we’re building 22 homes (2, 3, and 4-bedroom units) of Permanent Supportive Housing for families.

-
Gather
Restoring TCC's historic sanctuary and green space will expand opportunities for community meals, markets, performances, and other neighborhood events that restore connection & belonging.

-
Grow
Our new community kitchen & garden will expand neighborhood meal production and distribution. Together with The Nashville Food Project, we’ll provide kitchen, classroom, and community gathering space for meal preparation, volunteer engagement, culinary education, and community meals.
