Restoring connection and belonging in East Nashville.

Trinity Community Commons is a neighborhood nonprofit transforming an old church building into a vital community gathering space for all of our neighbors.

Our mission is to show radical hospitality to all people, restoring connections between neighbors and a sense of belonging within our community.

All includes you.

If you live in the neighborhood — especially in 37207 — we want to meet you.

Come on by for a community dinner, every Tuesday from 4:30 - 6:30.

At a typical dinner, you’ll meet people who just moved to the area, people who’ve lived here all their lives, and people who stay here while their shelter is tenuous. Everyone is both host and guest - meaning we all receive a nourishing meal together, and we all find ways to contribute. No second class citizens.

What we do

We host events so neighbors can build authentic, life-giving relationships together: meals, markets, musical performances, yoga, dance classes, support groups, celebrations, memorial services, & more.

We welcome all neighbors, especially those on the margins who are typically excluded from community life.

Is this a church?

We're asked this a lot. Our building used to host a church congregation. We’re a nonprofit that supports people of all (and no) faiths. The United Methodist Church congregation that worshipped here voted to dissolve during the pandemic, and the UMC gifted the building to Trinity Community Commons in 2022.

We want to continue to steward this sacred space for the flourishing of all our neighbors.

We’re writing the next chapter of our story -

and we need your help.
